Thanks for the module which makes Drupal benefit the Spry framework
Although the whole framework to be downloaded from Adobe is huge 9.3 MB
if we follow the instructions of the module which reads
"This is a location where Spry can be installed. It can be downloaded from:
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry"
would you make clear that do users need the to install the whole directory of spry framework?
do users really need directories of
/articles
/demos
/samples
??
as those are also large in size
if some folders not necessary files should remain and which is optional or not necessary and can be deleted
also when the framework expanded it names the directory folder like 'spry_p1_5_051707'
would you make clear that this folder renamed as 'spry'?
thanks

robloachHi, thanks for trying it out. I'll put in some better documentation for installation. Also, the location where you install Spry is dynamic, as you can visit admin/settings/spry and change it if you already have it installed somewhere.

robloachSorry for not getting to this sooner. The documentation will also include instructions on getting your first few Spry elements in there.

robloachThere we go... Hopefully that helps, if there's anything else you might find helpful, please let me know.

shlomz commentedHi!
I'm trying to implement Spry elements on my site. I've installed the Spry framework, edited a template (added the javascript line into the page.php.tpl area), and copied the relevant JS file to the theme folder (the script in the page.php.tpl should refer to it). And yet... nothing works. I get the element (a tabbed menu, in this case) fully designed by the CSS, but no functionality.
Any ideas? Thanks!

robloachYou shouldn't have to modify your theme with this module. You should be able to install the module, put the Spry Framework in a subfolder of it, and then use Spry from there. This is documented in the readme.

shlomz commentedSorry, but it doesn't work. I've tried it on an unmodified theme and all I get is like before: the widget is on the page, but it doesn't do anything. The Spry module is installed as required (double checked that). BTW, I'm copying the code generated by Dreamweaver CS3 (all of the body content, w/o the body tags, of course).
