I'm using Garland with three columns. When I enable an exposed filter on my views page and submit a value the right sidebar disappears and the central column expands to the right. This does not happen, though, if I do unlock the operator.

have you had any luck? I am having the same problem. I am only exposing 5 filters. I wish there was someway to wrap it around like a block type.

No, unfortunately. I did not use the filters in the end.

You may want to check out the Filter Block Module which puts the filters in divs and and sets them as a block type.

This bug report is woefully inadequate. What filters were you using? Can you export the view you were using?
