Undefined Offset line 248

Hello,

I'm getting the following message on any of the pages that have a content type using role reference:

Notice: Undefined offset: 4 in rolereference_potential_references() (line 248 of /data/www/doc/devdrupal/sites/all/modules/rolereference/rolereference.module)

I do have my error reporting set higher than usual as this is a development environment but I wanted to report anyway.
