Hi guys,

The plan is to create a new branch (6.x-2.x), commit a bare-bones
version and then start adding bells and whistles (e.g. Views
integration) from the 7.x-2.0 version.

This way we can simplify contributed patches, as they will only
include code that is being added to the current dev version (as
opposed to having hundreds of lines of removed code).

Hi,

I just made an initial commit of the backport. I'd be grateful for
testing and feedback. Both sign-in and social sharing should
work. Token replacement currently does not work.
