webchickDone! But it's alpha3; the team told me I was being a bit over-enthusiastic. ;)

webchickSorry, I ran out of steam for tonight. Tomorrow! :) Hopefully this will be tomorrow. Please test if you'd like in the meantime!

dman commentedIt certainly provides a clean, working installation with a number of working dependencies, including the real-world in-place editor.
I found the editor glitchy (OSX 10.5, Chrome) with it forgetting to show the rest of the WYSIWYG hover tools if I clicked in unexpected places to quickly, or hovered too slowly, or something. Then becoming unable to save or update until I refreshed the page etc. I don't know how stable this is expected to be... I'd need to trace it to see if it was js errors or what.
But as for the distribution package itself, yes, those instructions got me to a working demo site pretty quickly!

webchickYeah, the code is definitely still alpha quality. Still, if you can reliably reproduce bugs with the inline editor, please go ahead and file issues w/ steps to reproduce in the http://drupal.org/project/issues/edit queue. Wim can make a call on whether those are our bugs or Aloha's bugs.
Annnnd this is now done! Woohoo!
