When this module is active I can't alter/hide the title in panels module

I tried reproducing the same but its working fine.
The following are the step that i followed :-

  1. Created a panel page from url
  2. From title, I selected "Manually set title", and entered "TEST"
  3. Save. Open the page

It shows up the title rendered as HTML and module HTML TITLE was enabled.
Can you check with the latest version
