I have the following suggestion for the user interface:

On page /admin/settings/merci the checkboxes for the weekdays start with saturday, the time ranges to be entered below start with monday. Both should at least start with the same day, the best would be to start with the first day of the week as defined under /admin/settings/date-time.

Since this is something that is really set and forgotten, I can't see spending the time to add this but would review a patch if one was submitted.
