Meet the winners

Congratulations to the winners totaling $98,000 of DrupalCon Pitch-burgh funding.

The DrupalCon Pitch-burgh judges chose 7 finalists, and then 5 were selected by the audience during the DrupalCon Pittsburgh Driesnote. However, two people from the Driesnote audience graciously jumped in to help make up the difference and fully fund the top 5! Thanks Lee Walker at Code Journeymen and Jonathan at Daggerhart Lab for helping with the $3,000 (the additional funds needed to fully fund the "Contributing and mentoring the mentor" project).

After the competition ended, Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress and CEO of Automattic, offered to provide an additional €20,000 in funding for DrupalCon Pitch-burgh. As a result, we can fully fund the next project chosen by the audience at DrupalCon: Policy-based access in core (Factorial, €13,000).

We still have one finalist, AI Developer Assistant by Mindaugas, who is not fully funded. If you would like to see this project fully funded, please contact Alex Moreno at alex.moreno@association.drupal.org.
