I've just caught up with an in-depth article about Drupal in the UK computer magazine PCPro.

This is probably the best, most forward thinking technology magazine in the UK, and covers things beyond the usual hardware/software reviews. It's available from most newsagents but is really geared towards people working in the IT business rather than home users. It's list of 100 inventions that were crucial to the development of IT included take-away pizza as without it programmers would have had to stop working....

It's quite long, so to save you from having to skip to the summary at the end I've included it here:

"Getting to grips with Drupal has certainly been an emotional rollercoaster, and in some ways I'm at the lowest point: over the minor hurdles but fully aware of how much needs to be done before any site can go live. On the other hand, I'm more excited than ever about the heights I can achieve with Drupal and the very different experiences it can provide for both site visitors and webmasters. Yes, its name is dreadful, but I'm confident you're going to be hearing a lot more about Drupal in the years to come."

Thanks

Hehe, I know that feeling, I've finally "got" drupal and a barebones site working.

That article is spot on IMHO. :)
