Bio:

With a technical background and an open-source mindset, I have been delivering digital craftsmanship for over 15 years. In my role as Technology Director, I enable our team to do what they love most and do best.

Outside of iO, I spend my free time as a board member of the Dutch Drupal Association, being involved with the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, organising both the Dutch and International Splash Awards, or judging digital work in several international award competitions, including the Webby Awards.

Drupal is our weapon of choice and the backbone of our digital platforms. I try to give back by sharing knowledge and promote the adoption of Drupal in Europe, and more specifically in the Netherlands. Currently, I serve as a board member of the Dutch Drupal Association. Also, I am a member of the organising teams of the Dutch Splash Awards 2019 through 2022, the 2019 International Splash Awards @ DrupalCon Amsterdam and the 2021 International Splash Awards @ DrupalCon Europe. In the past, I have spoken at events such as Drupal Europe.
