Bio:

Over seventeen years experience across management, marketing and information technology throughout various industries on both a national and international stage.

My focus for business has been specifically within the Asia Pacific Region with key engagements in Australia, China, Japan, India. However I have kept myself active in the larger global community with regular visits to conferences in Europe and public speaking engagements.

Provided training and explanation of the Drupal Framework to some of Australia's largest web agencies. Helped both Australian Universities and Government Agencies understand what Content Management Systems are and how they can enhance efficiency for content editing and marketing campaigns.

I have programmed in various PHP templating languages since 2003 and enjoy front end development. Built various Drupal 6 and 7 themes from static design, fluid design and more recently responsive themes. For Drupal I work with the Adaptive base theme and excited about the Drupal8 twig implementation and the future it holds for Drupal templating.

Managed Open Source Web projects for small company websites to large scale projects worth over 20 million. My main area of focus has been within Government and Enterprise web solution design and network infrastructure builds.

Extensive background in the area of solutions design and product development life-cycles for both software and physical products. The combination of these two areas has allowed a unique understanding of the workplace reality and implications of systems for real world workers.

Background in Human Cognition Research within the area of Knowledge Workers and creating navigation for applications and the web which enhance a workers uptake of information and execution of data driven tasks. Recently published a thesis within the area of static navigation and impact on memory recall for database driven applications.

My approach to development is a content centric database driven approach, holding over ten years experience building Content Management Systems.

As an Architect it is my role to understand, programming, operations infrastructure and business procedures. Where I add a unique touch with my solution design is in my approach of dimensional data and navigation design that considers cognitive design.
