I started playing with drupal in March 2005 but I'm still a noob.
I'm not a programmer (and, alas, never will be!) so my contribution to the drupal community seems to be asking really stupid questions that (though infuriatingly obvious to clever people) newbie's like me might benefit from ... I try to help with the idiot-proof part of the documentation, seeing as how I seem to learn everything the hard way.
I put some time and effort into testing / reviewing / bug reporting other people's work, and have had a few of my own hacks included in one or two contrib modules :)
I've also contributed to various handbook pages, trying to document solutions that I struggled to find, but I'm fairly sure these annoy the handbook maintainers ;)
