Bio:

Learned programming at age 12, had over 2,500 hours of programming under my belt before graduating high school. Worked on embedded systems for printers right out of high school, went on to large-scale databases (KSAM in 68000 assembly) and vertical work order systems for business, followed by a few years in the games industry (Victory at Sea Macintosh at Three-Sixty Pacific), then onto helping develop the world's first metropolitan high-speed wireless Internet (Ricochet at Metricom, Los Gatos, CA) later developing a national training program for technicians and partner companies for Ricochet.
Then it was on to the amazing world wide web! As a freelance web developer, I grew a base of clients, and for them I wrote a database-template (early version of CMS) system in 1997 and two shopping carts using various databases and middleware. When I discovered Drupal (ver 4.2), it was love at first sight. I converted all my web clients over to Drupal sites by 2005, and I've never looked back since!
Of course, all along the way: Scott Adam's Adventures, gaming, BBS's, FIDO-net, eWorld, CompuServe, GEnie, the chat rooms, IRC, blogs, virtual worlds, social media, machine learning, systems admin, and infosec :)
