Jessica Baumberger (jbaum_13)

I am a Web Developer and IT professional with 20 years' experience designing, architecting, and coding custom websites, CMS sites, and e-commerce solutions. I hold a Bachelor's in Visual Communications and Digital/Multimedia Design, and a Master's in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Denver.

I hold a full-time position at University of Illinois Springfield, where I am the Director of Web & Digital Strategy. I am responsible for updating and maintaining UIS's Drupal sites to prevent security vulnerabilities and ensure modules and core code is up-to-date. I create custom modules for clients when their in need a specific requirements. I collaborate with other team members to brainstorm ideas and create campaigns to meet our marketing goals. I work directly with the hosting company and outside vendors to further develop and enhance the site and its functionality.

By following industry best practices, latest SEO/GEO methodology, usability, and accessibility techniques, I develop websites and applications that can reach the intended target audience while improving site rank and availability to users, across all platforms.
