Bio:

I am a 25 year veteran Internet technologist. I am the founder of multiple Drupal related companies. The most recent is Esteemed Inc. a multi-channel workplace and work-life solutions company. My experience over the past 9 years with Drupal has involved estimating, planning and building enterprise websites and applications for some of the largest enterprise users of Drupal. I am a skilled Information and Technical Architect and am a hands on expert at complex Drupal site building (Views, Context, Panels, Triggers, Actions, Rules, Feeds, Web Services etc), theme, and module customization. I am also an experienced Team Lead and Manager.

I have skills in Digital Strategy with deep experience surrounding Drupal capabilities in various verticals using Drupal 6, 7 and 8. My skills also include the new and rapidly expanding Personalization space. I have also worked with both Drupal Commerce and Ubercart. I have significant experience working with community sites employing the Drupal Commons and Organic Groups modules. I have led Drupal development teams of 2-30 consisting of back-end, front-end, testers, BA's and creative talent sets.

I am also one of the Volunteer Organizers of my local Drupal group in Olympia, Washington as well as a regular volunteer at the PNW Summit each year.

My nearly two decades in digital design, web development, communications, branding, and business in lead technical, management, and communications roles in Government and the Fortune 50, at places like Accenture (clients include Marriott International, Disney and other top brands), AT&T Hypergrowth, The U.S. Department's of Defense and Veteran's Affairs, The State's of Washington, Georgia, and Missouri, as well as with blue-chip start-ups like Amazon.com, Real Networks, Mulesoft.com, Akamai, Possible.com and others, has given me a significant breadth of experience.

Drupal Contributions:

I have worked with Drupal version's 6 and 7,8 for the past 12 years. I have extensive experience crafting enterprise solutions involving Drupal and related systems. I have also built and managed global teams of developers.

I frequently act as a Drupal consultant to other web firms, government entities and contractors, as well as private companies helping to troubleshoot issues, manage and lead projects, train staff, and create effective site architecture.

My original Drupal.org profile is http://drupal.org/user/1063064 which came from my work over a year period crafting http://www.thriftyandgreen.com on Drupal 6. I was the sole designer and developer of this site which has over 60 blogs and growing uses the Feeds module and allows bloggers to add an RSS feed and also using the Ad module place an Ad that will appear at the footer of each post after set up. It also features a flip magazine sold in Barnes & Noble and other digital outlets.

- I have customized modules with my working knowledge of PHP and adapted them to the needs of the projects I have been engaged in creating or testing. These include Views Slideshow, Ajax Slideshow, Feeds and others.

- I am able to customize any theme, create custom themes and basically do anything at the theme layer level via over 12 years with HTML, CSS, and Javascript and 4 years with Jquery. I am especially experienced with Bootstrap, Omega and Adaptive theme the reigning responsive Drupal themes. I also have experience with Git and Subversion version control software and a few common IDE consoles, such as Net Beans.

- I am able to architect many common enterprise, ecommerce, and community Drupal site configurations through my experience working, and bidding on complex enterprise level sites with Accenture and a smaller but similar firm Tech Aspect. I am able to accurately estimate and have experience with Drupal projects ranging from $60,000 to $3,000,000. Prior to this I also have significant business analysis experience with the State of Washington Interactive Tech division and AT&T.

- I am an advanced Views user able to use most every aspect of the cornerstone module.

- I am familiar with complex rules and triggers in D6 / 7.

- I have performed upgrades of D6 to D7 for many enterprise and fed government clients.

- I have performed HTML migrations of sites over 40,000 pages

- While I may not be a regular contributor of code, I believe I am responsible for advancing the Drupal footprint and brand in my small way by creating Celebrate Drupal http://www.celebratedrupal.com - a development, staffing + training company. We also offer on site and remote experts via a separate division Drupal Contractors https://www.drupalcontractors.com so are helping other Drupal professionals and newcomers find jobs and projects through this talent bureau service also built on Drupal.

- A project I am working on with Chris Shattuck of http://buildamodule.com is Drupal Institute www.drupalinstitute.org which will pair Build a Module video content with e-learning testing leading to an on-site exam given at locations around the globe which if completed and successful will lead to the first Drupal Certifications.

- Local contributions

I am one of 3 organizers of the Olympia Washington Drupal users group https://groups.drupal.org/olympia-wa. The group meets monthly at Evergreen State College via this and Drupal Institute I make regular time to mentor new inductees into the Drupal community fostering young and old on topics of Drupal adoption and opportunities for those with skills, or in the process of obtaining them on their own or via a formal program.

I am a volunteer for the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit which happens annually around the NW.
