Module development and code questions

I am trying to make a simple module to show a media block. I would like to take video or audio and allow users to upload one video and one audio file. The interface would be extremely simple, title, body, and media.

I have looked at a few modules but they all seem to be either extremely complex or support only video or only audio. I am using D 4.7 with a lot of custom code but I should be able to make any changes needed.

I am looking to update our website www.pickinglosers.co.uk to drupal 5 very soon.

One issue that I have however is finding an alternative to the Syndication module that gathers all the rss feeds and displays them all on one page. I would carry on using this module but its not available for version 5.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what maybe a suitable alternative?

I got my queries solved previously when i placed in forum.Please solve this.Its urgent.Pls........

Will custom data fields get supported in OrganizationForm of Civicrm module.I prepared a custom data field of type organization.Lables are getting displayed but data is not inserted in database and unable to view the updates.Data not getting inserted in database.The table where data get inserted is civicrm_custom_value.

What i need is whether it support or not.If yes what files has to be changed with what code.

sorry for the blast but I did a search and can't find the right solution for me. The closest thread I saw was "to install PEAR" (http://drupal.org/node/1400) which I already did but I still got this error. One thing I am not quite sure is what PEAR package I need to install since there are many of them.

Anyway, I wonder if someone has run into similar problem and how to solve it. I'm not new to PHP but quite a rookie on Drupal so please take it easy on me.

I have read the readme file, but I don't understand how to set this up.

I am supposed to set the root director, the default is /webfm. What is this realitive to? /webfm in the modules directory, is it realitive to that? The modules directory is the only place I have /webfm.

Then I am supposed to set the modules directory. The default is /ftp - again realitive to what? The modules directoy again?

My site is set up like this.

/public_ftp/
/pubilic_html/sitename.com/main/modules/webfm
