I have been asked to evaluate the cost of a semi-promotional website with community aspects for a large public institution. Drupal seems to come out of the box with a lot of the requested functionality. That makes it an implementation candidate.
I browsed through this forum and found many examples of people presenting interesting features they realised with Drupal. However, the time it took them is almost never mentioned.
Does anybody know of some substantial Drupal site with the cost quoted, preferrably split up somehow and rather precisely.
Hi there,
We just launched our first Drupal site and are pretty excited about all the technology has to offer. The site is still pretty bare (since we haven't yet gone GA with our product).
We just took the wraps off our mountain biking site built on Drupal. We plan to launch quite a few sites over the next couple of years and hope to evolve along with Drupal. (We also have a corporate site on Drupal but we haven't done much to enhance it. See it here.)
I just set up a site on an old domain for blogging about the feasibility of developing a scalable social networking module suite for drupal. I don't have anything remotely close to a public release, but I figured it might interest some people. Check it out at http://www.codecrazy.net/.
I have just relaunched my corporate site using an updated version of the Blix template. Nothing major here. Just using clean URLS and feedback module. The rest is pure "Page nodes". Images on the right hand side are blocks that only appears in the relevant node.
