Post installation

I have been getting the error below since my host changed ownership of my directories. This error is showing up in the Drupal error log. Some of my thumbnails are not showing up at times, but may appear the next time I access the page. Can someone tell me how this can be fixed? I posted this on Gallery forum but nobody has answered for over a day now...

i have recently installed Drupal and have some questions.
I would like to customize user's description in comments and forum. I want theese things to appear near user name and avatar:

* Count of comments user has posted
* Count of pages user has created
* User ranking if set (eg. Admin, moderator)

Which module does it or do i have to code it manualy?..

For security, I am trying to remove all unnecessary files.

i found these in a default install, in the directory scripts
code-clean.sh code-style.pl cron-curl.sh cron-lynx.sh prefix.sh

I installed a drupal site on a hosting company's server. But the emails
created by drupal (for registration, etc) have the From field set to be my
hosting-acct@hosting-server-name. I like it to be webmaster@my-own-domain.
Do you know when/how to configure that in drupal?

Is there any way to stop Drupal from applying the styles to the page/story content or a part of it?

Take a look at this:

Drupal is messing the form up by applying its own styles.
