Tips on using the documentation handbooks:

Searching the Documentation handbooks: enter your search term in the Drupal search box and click Search. On the results page, click "Book page" in the "Filter by type" right-hand menu to limit your search results to those in the documentation only.

Browsing the documentation handbooks: click on http://drupal.org/handbooks to see a wide variety of guides, tutorials and case studies.

Asking the location of documentation, in case you can't find what you are looking for, can be done by either:

• Posting a topic in one of the support forums.
• Asking on the #drupal or #drupal-support IRC (chat) channels on irc.freenode.net.

Saving documentation for offline use may be done through clicking the printer-friendly link on a top-level handbook page, then saving or printing, as described here.
