Revision Information - This option can help keep track of different versions of a page over time. This feature can be used or ignored at your discretion.
URL Path Settings - For this option, you have two choices: You can leave the Generate Automatic URL Alias box checked, which will create an automatic URL for the content you're creating. OR, you can uncheck that box and supply your own custom address in the URL Alias text box.
Site content on Julio is organized according to user group. All content belongs to a particular user group, and that will determine where it is displayed on the site. There are four types of content that you can create:
Announcements - Announcements are short news items related to the user group.
Events - Events are calendar entries for upcoming user group activities.
Galleries - Galleries are collections of photos relevant to the user group - see Creating Image Galleries for information on creating galleries.
Group Posts - Group Posts can be used to display additional user group information.
Announcements, Events, and Galleries will automatically be displayed on the landing page of the user group to which they belong. Group Posts, however, must be linked manually, usually by adding them to a menu, which can only be done by Admins and Content Creators.
I have 40,000+ nodes, each with multiple field types. In particular there are 2 custom field that I would like to change they type. One is Latitude, and the other is Longitude. Both are text fields that I created when setting up the content type. I would like to convert the data in those two fields into geocode data that can be used to place a marker on a map. There are a lot of great geolocation modules out there with all the functionality I need, but I don't know how to convert the data I have into one of the fields they provide.
Drupal 7.14
Twitter module and sub-modules: 7.x - 3.1
I would like that the website launch a twitt each hour or 2 hours, in automatic mode.
And it randomly chooses what page/node address to send into the twitt.
Is that possible?
on WordPress there is the plug-in "Twitt old post" .. is there in Drupal similar modules/features please?
I installed Drupal 7.14 using Fantastico (I had/have the option to use Softaculous).
First I got a 500 Internal Server Error. My host fixed that as follows:
"The error you were receiving is because the 'Options +FollowSymLinks' was enabled. I have commented out this line, and it seems to have corrected the issue.
We disabled the option 'FollowSymLinks' quite some time ago because of a known exploit that uses it. We enabled the option 'SymLinksIfOwnerMatch' by default server wide because of this. 'SymLinksIfOwnerMatch' provides the same functionality as "FollowSymLinks' with additional security measures. If your script requires 'FollowSymLinks', there should be no issues with using the 'SymLinksIfOwnerMatch' alternative. You do not have to specify the option 'SymLinksIfOwnerMatch' in an .htaccess file because it is enabled by default server wide."
After that all did look fine, actually great!! Then I added some content. All seemed ok, except that on "puiblishing" and then leaving the "page" I was told there was an installation error:
"PHP register globals Enabled ('1')
register_globals is enabled. Drupal requires this configuration directive to be disabled. Your site may not be secure when register_globals is enabled. The PHP manual has instructions for how to change configuration settings."
hello,
on a small drupal-site, the editorial journalist should have the possibility to add and remove images/files to a collection/library in the admin-section; these images (and no others) can later be used in filefields while node-creation.
