Hello. I am using the acquia stack installer on my machine , i instaled and inported the drupal 7 version from here (drupal.org), for the development state of my site. So i am trying to register user(for testing ) , like any anonymous would in real tine . I type a user name, valid email adress , and "creat account". Immediatly AVG is asking me if i allow something , i say allow , but i never receave the email from drupal to activate the account. Can anyone help ?

Hi all, I'm working on a project that involves creating a site with a list of deals available from various business entities in the city (mostly retail outlets without online presence).

On the page showing the deal, I'd like to place some info & an image of the product and deal as well as some information about the business offering this particular deal, such as: name, logo, address, opening hours etc.. below the deal information - basically so users can know where and how to claim the offer.

I'd also like to include a reverse feature to allow users to see all the deals of a particular business should they search for the business name in the site.

Can this easily be done with Drupal 7? If so what would be the best way to go around it? (Note: that all content will be submitted by the admin not the users)

Here is the info summed up:

Deal page will contain:
* Information about the product & deal it's self
* Information about the business offering the deal
* Information about the retail outlets of the business offering the deal (eg. Location/Address, contact details, opening hours ... )

Relationships between the info on the deal page:

A Deal is linked to 1 Business.
A Business can have many Deals.
A Business can have many retail outlets.

Hi all.

In Drupal when you create an article you have the ability to promote it to the front page. Is there a way to setup other pages with in your drupal site and have the option to promote content to those pages?

So for instance I would have a page titled Office Instructions and then I would create an article call waste removal. When I go to publish the waste removal article I would have the option to publish it to the front page or the Office Instructions page or possibly both?

Hello, this is the website I am working on: http://test.bervas.ro.
I have modified the Bartik theme by changing the header dimensions and background and moved down the menu. The problem is that the main menu won't expand even though the "Stiri" adn "Review" entryes have childrens, and I checked the "Show as expanded" box in Administration.

I didn't had a menu entry who has a parent link before playing around with the menu. So i don't really know if it's because of me that he doesn't work properly.

I have an intentional Drupal site that is primarily used for forums. There are about 20 people on it, all of whom I know personally. It is 6.x, and I am considering upgrading to 7.x soon.
