I've just installed Drupal 7. During the install I had to create the default/files directory and private directories manually.
The 'out of the box' site is now up and running.

Hello I need to create a list of nodes where besides text a mp3 file should be attached inline.
I want the player to execute and show up on the same list, without jumping to another page.
I am just getting text links in the toolbar for CKEditor in D7. I think this might have something to do with the fact that I had to put "public_html/tmp" into the temporary directory definition on my File System page - maybe I have to do the same in the CSS settings for the CKEditor Module? I just can't figure out what that should be... or am I missing something (sorry _very new to Drupal).
I am the DEFINITION of a newbie with this stuff. I had a site built for me, and now I am going to attempt to maintain it.
I need to embed my typekit code (I think on the html.tpl.php) page. How do I get to the source code to replace the existing Typekit code, with the new one?
I have an install of the latest non-dev Date and Calendar modules on D7. If memory serves me correctly, it was possible on D6 to enter a date, leave the start time blank, and have it be an "All Day" event.
For the life of me, I am having problems creating a date field that will do this. If you require the date field and have granularity set to minute, then you are required to also enter a time.
