Drupal 7.x

Hi,

I want to make the Forums module as the default page when arriving my site so it will look like a forum system (like PHPBB) rather than the standard layout of Drupal. How do I configure the Forums to be on the homepage? Do you have a good experiencewith modules that may help enhance the forums functionality?

Hello,

I need an expert Drupal developer to work on the development of a bridge between Drupal and vBulletinBoard. Both systems need to share the same userbase, if possible, integrate the Drupal forum feature to use the vBulletin one and Drupal article comments should be able to be a vBulletin post.

Requirements:

I have a v5 site, I put a lot of custom work into and will need (I think) quite a bit of work to go up to 6 - once I do this, is it going to be easy to upgrade from 6 to 7?

Or is it better to wait until v7 becomes mainstream before transferring the customisations?

I installed cck and wanted to add a content type that requires one image on the left and the description (short resume) of a person on the right.
Like what you see when you click on "about us" section of a business. But cck does not give me any option that can do it. When I try to add new fields to the content type, field type button does not have image as an option.

Sorry if it is obvious, let me know what I am missing.

I have a large scale project I'm about to start soon, and I need someone to handle some customization, including modules, and this is for a multi-site installation. I will design the 3 websites, I need you to take the HTML and create the template.

There is a large project spec which I don't want to upload here, but includes multimedia capabilities: photo galleries, Flash added to certains pages, Video, Audio, and ecommerce related areas which need to be password protected until after registration is purchased. I've tested AMember with another Drupal site, and found that it was protecting the entire site instead of just specific areas, so maybe you can help out with this?

I totally forgot what drupal stood for one of my work collegues asked me, cause he could tell... from memory is it the 'Dimensional Riff Unificatory Pal' bit like the way something I am a core developer for XOOPS is for... Hey is hellboy he was on my msn at some point but haven't seen online for awhile, he was asking me if he could convert some of my modules to Drupal and I said when it is done, but I think we should sign a Multual None Disclosure agreement between us a developers so anything unmentioned is still not known..
