Make your Drupal Search' look and feel more Google-ish
As our users are familiar with Google-style search results, we created this module to give Apache SOLR search a closer look and feel.
Features
- Overrides some Apache SOLR configuration variables to get highlighted option
- Display the number of results
- Calculate and display the age of content
The module provides also css and overrides both search templates search-result.tpl.php and search-results.tpl.php. Feel free to override these templates and the css in your theme.
Requirements
This module depends on Apache SOLR.
In order to use this module, you need to have a functional Apache SOLR search. To achieve that, report to the Apache SOLR module and its documentation.
Usage
Once Apache SOLR search is installed and configured, simply download and activate the SOLR Google Like module, and you're good to go: no further configuration is required.
Feel free to customize the look of your search by overriding, in your theme, templates and css provided by the module.
