Enterprise Knowledge Management System

There is no substitute for years of experience in a particular field or industry. However, there is now a way to transfer knowledge that is gained over the course of a career.OPIN’s knowledge management platform offers different generations of employees the opportunity to exchange valuable company-specific information about procedures, tasks and other work force related activities. Instead of losing information when an employee retires, the knowledge manag ement platform can now record this information and pass it on to newer staff members. The company continues to move forward by more fully valuing the contributions of its more experienced members. OPIN offers two types of knowledge management systems: community blogging, and the wiki system.

Community Blogging

Imagine a comprehensive journal of real-world business scenarios, narrated by the people who lived through them. Instead of the distant abstractions of a business textbook, community blogging offers a vivid, relatable and hands-on approach to situations encountered in a particular business. Employees can pass on knowledge to newer generations of employees through this informal but highly effective format.

The platform is designed so that individuals can contribute their knowledge without feeling constrained or pressured by a particular format. The interface is easy to use and automatically updates and categorizes entries. When someone retires, they can be reassured that their achievements will never be forgotten.

Wiki System

The public encyclopedia “Wikipedia” has become an Internet staple because it is both accessible, adaptable, and comprehensive. Having an internal company-specific digital encyclopedia allows organizations to store information about their company practices, regulations and processes as a convenient point of reference for newer staff. The Wiki System is easy to update and can display several different forms of media in order to provide the clearest possible instruction. Conveying information is easy with effective knowledge management.
