This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.
The equivalent to Sync PostGIS (https://drupal.org/project/sync_postgis) but to work with a MySQL Database that is >= MySQL 5.6. Drupal core does not provide in its MySQL PDO methods to interact with geospatial columns. So this module is to address that issue.
