This project is not covered by Drupal’s security advisory policy.

The Advanced status module provides a detailed status report of your site. This report may be useful when debugging issues or when asking for technical support from thirdy-parties, such as Drupal.org issue queues, or Drupal expert individuals or companies. The Advanced status report can be viewed on your site, or it can be downloaded to be sent in email attachments or uploaded elsewhere.

The report is provided in a simple plain text format to minimize problems when cutting and pasting or sending the file out in attachments and uploads. Actually, the content of the report is valid Markdown Extra, so it can be converted to other formats for better presentation, such as HTML or PDF, if desired.

Albeit being very detailed, considerate effort was made to protect sensitive information you may care about your site. For example, content type names, database user names etc., are all "anonymized" — i.e. they are replaced with generic identifier, which will still allow technical people to understand the inners aspects of your site and relate them when needed, without the need to publicize the exact names of the anonymized identifier.

Also, metric about your site are given in order of magnitude numbers, instead of in exact numbers. In other words, the report may say that content type Foo has less than 10 nodes on your site, while content type Bar has 10000-100000 nodes — which is more than enough for a developer to get a good idea of what's going on.

Notice: Despite all the measures used to protect sensitive information on the status report, it is strongly advised that you review the information that is in it before giving it to someone else, as the report may contain information that you may not want to publicize. Of course, this very same advice applies to the Drupal core status report — or any other information about your site that you give to someone else, for that matter.
