Experimental project

This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.

Allows the site administrator to create tokens that contain different content depending on node content-type. The content can contain tokens that get evaluated.

Use case is a site that has notifications 2.x and needs different messaging templates per content-type. Notifications 3.x reports having per content-type templates.

Alternatives found on the way to creating this:

  • Token logic. Much more powerful, and hence complicated for an administrator. Presently to be found only in DevSeeds SVN repo.
  • Custom Tokens, requires use of PHP and naturally site permission to use PHP.
