Release versioning

Releases are marked as:

• 8.x-1.0-alpha1 May 17, 2014
• 8.x-1.0-rc1 Nov 09, 2015
• 8.x-1.0-beta1 Nov 11, 2015
• 8.x-1.0-alpha2 Dec 2, 2015

Maybe you changed your mind, deciding that rc1 was actually not ready to be rc1 but you marked subsequent releases backwards.

It should be:

• alpha1
• alpha2
• alpha...
• beta1
• beta2
• beta...
• rc1
• rc2
• -release-

These releases makes it confusing (especially that 8.x-0.0 line) to see which version we should use.
