When reviewing yaml_content.drush.inc, you'll see that a lot of the commands include a create-new option. Running a command with this option has no effect. In reviewing the drush action functions, none call drush_get_option() to use this option or pass it as an argument.

I haven't been able to look into this yet, and I'd like to cut the new alpha5 release today. I'm moving this to the next release for follow-up under #3055576: Plan for YAML Content 8.x-1.x-alpha6.
