Changes saved but not seen in sitemap

Hi

I have this issue where changes to the default setting are not seen in sitmap when viewing it from Config/Search and Meta/XML Sitemap, on this page your click the link for the sitmap and view the site map. No changes made in the site ever show up in the view. It is always the same site map.

For example I removed some the content types form the setting page and now is says I have 95 links, but when view it I see the old site map 243 pages.
