Finally we have the stable release out. It was some work i can tell you. Thank you to all those testers, patches, bug-reporters, installation and miration testers. Also thanks for the Feature requests - great to have people contributing.
A critical bug introduced in the last release when fixing then operator in edit-form ( and therefore make caching work again). Thank you to TwoD and pfrenssen who giving very detailed informations and solutions for that tricky issue.

Well i think this release is a major step forward. Due to the form-workflow rewrite you now can influence the module very easy and adding new things using submodules. With the new api you can add new meta fields like a discription field very easy using a submodule and ~ 30 lines of code. Just have a look at the API docs and the lightbox implementation as an example.

Please note: the 6.1.x will not longer be supported after the stable release of 6.2.x. Please use the included migration module to automatically migrate form the old 6.1 format

A lot of general bugfixes were fixed during the rewrite.
I would advice anybody to switch to the new version when its stable, 6.1 will no be maintained longer. There is a migration path which does it all for you, just look at the upper link

Well once again, we had a bug inside, which is to critical to leave it for the next release. I appologize for the mess with the releases yesterday. Its a petty that i cant release 1.2-BETA or 1.2-RC1. Those releases are never shown if you do so, its a bug in the project-system. So the only way to release is a stable release..or a completely new branch.

Upgrade is not urgent, if everything is working for you right now.
The new feature is, that you can select, which presets you want to allow in the dialog (you select them in the wyswiyg_imageupload admin settings)

- Upload images in FCKeditor, CKeditor and TinyMCE editor
- User imagecache presets, styles and the floating for more details and size
- Set a title
- Instead of uploading, select a already uploaded image in the included image browser

This is the first release candidate for the 6--1-0. So no features will get into the current version anymore. It should be stable now, so preparing a stable release if we have no issues during 2 weeks.
