I'm using TinyMCE 3.3.9.2 and every time I click a link pointing to a file, the file is automatically downloaded. It happens with different kind of files, not all (e.g. it happens with zip, but not PDF). When I move into the linked text by moving the cursor, nothing happens (as it should be).
Clicking a link that points to a different URL, nothing happens (as it should be).
Any ideas?

TwoDI think that might be a browser setting.
Which browsers have you tested with?
Same result in all of them?

hepabolu CreditAttribution: hepabolu commentedSorry for the long delay. I lost track of this issue. It surfaced in the new dashboard.
I've tested this and it looks browser specific. This is what I've done:
- open a textarea with TinyMCE + IMCE set
- select text and add a link to a zip file
- select another text and add a link to a pdf file
- click somewhere in the link to the zip file
- click somewhere in the link to the pdf file
In Firefox I've changed the preferences and it now asks to save the zip file, it doesn't do anything with the pdf link, just shows the link buttons in the button bar. In Safari both links only show the link buttons in the button bar.

TwoDI'm closing this since it's basically been confirmed it's a browser setting and not actually something different about the links created by the editors.
