Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
I'm wondering if we could use this module (or another one) on Drupal.org to encourage greater participation.
I'm always surprised at the number of developers who don't already have a drupal.org account.
How many folks with accounts don't have Drupal Association memberships?
I'm always surprised when I find a client that is actually signed up to a drupal.org. It's great, but very rare.
Would gentle nudging help bring more people into this circle? I think it's part of taking Drupal to the next level.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedInteresting note. Richard (the other maintainer) made a note that it might be possible to do something like this with Rules. This module could certainly use some love! I've been very busy with migrations lately so I haven't kept up my other contrib projects much. Though I may do an overhaul of a bunch of them for D7+D8 soon.

mgiffordI posted a semi-related note here #2186173: Highlight User's membership in the Drupal Association in Issue Queue & Forums
Would love feedback from folks who have used this approach in other sites.
