In checking out the Writer theme, I noticed there are a few drupal-ish things that are simply not displayed at all, including messages (so when I try logging in or resetting my password, I don't see any message alerting me that the password is incorrect), and fields that are set to display on node teasers don't actually show on the front page of the site. To make this theme more usable for a wide variety of sites, it would be nice if those two things, at least, were made to work like other themes.
