Release notes

This is the first alpha release of Workbench Moderation for Drupal 8.

The Drupal 8 version of Workbench Moderation models the 1.x branch for Drupal 7, not the experimental 2.x branch. Users may define states and transitions between them, then per-bundle configure any revisionable content type to make use of it. (Some work to support each entity type is necessary due to limitations of core, but the level of effort is minimal.) Users may then transition entities through various states, using "forward revisions" that are stored in the system but not yet public to site visitors. Certain states will trigger the new revision becoming the public revision.

This alpha should be considered experimental. Please download it, try it out, and use it, but do not use it in production. At this time, no upgrade path or API stability is guaranteed (although drastic changes are unlikely). Caveat downloader.
