Translations lost when a new draft is added on certain workflow

Hi,

I've noticed a bug with Workbench while using content translation with content going through moderation.

The workflow I went through that caused the problem was:

• Created a new content type that had workbench setup and was translatable
• Created a new node (In English). In the 'Publishing options' at the bottom of the page, set the node to 'Published'
• Created a new translation for the node (In French)
• I can now see the French translation in the 'Translate' tab on the English node
• I can now see the English translation in the 'Translate' tab on the French node
• Created a new draft of the English node
• The French translation is now gone in the 'Translate' tab of the English node
• The English translation is now gone in the 'Translate' tab of the French node

If I go through the following workflow however it all works OK:

• Opened the 'Moderate' tab on the English node and set the draft I created to 'Published'
• Created a new translation for the node (In French)
• I can now see the French translation in the 'Translate' tab on the English node
• I can now see the English translation in the 'Translate' tab on the French node
• Created a new draft of the English node
• The French translation is still there in the 'Translate' tab of the English node
• The English translation is still there in the 'Translate' tab of the French node

I was wondering if anyone else had come across this issue and if there was a fix for it?

I can disable the 'Publishing Options' on the node add page as a work around, but it would be nice to get the issue fixed.

• Drupal 7.25 - using content translation module
• Workbench 7.x-1.2
