I have customized the descriptions for many of my content types: however, for Basic page, Blog, Feed item, Feed, and Article; the updated descriptions are not updated on the Workbench "Create Content" page. Instead, the default description remains. All other content types, including my custom content types are fine. For example, for the Blog content type, I tried to remove the bit about "Every user gets a personal blog."

Also, I have renamed the Article content type as Announcements, and changed its machine name, but now on the "Create Content" Page, the Announcement content type is listed as it should be, but the old Article content type with its default description is still in the list.

I cannot replicate this error. Perhaps this is a duplicate issue that has already been fixed.

I am not able to replicate this error.

I changed the description, name, machine_name.. All shows correctly on the WB Create Content page. On changing machine name, the old Article type does not show in the list.

I have changed the name and description of some of my content types and I even uninstalled Workbench and WB Moderation and it stayed with the original data, not my updates. I am new to Drupal, if there is not a patch is there a way I can alter the WB Create Content Page?
