It would be great if this module would also display entity types... such as Profile 2 data... in the All Recent Content listing.

Unlikely, because there are too many variations to be able to build a generic solution.

Better to edit the page with hook_workbench_content_alter() to add another view -- or use a menu item to add a new tab.
