What is the Web Experience Toolkit (WET)?
A front-end framework used to build accessible, mobile friendly, and multilingual websites. It is open source and led by the Government of Canada (http://wet-boew.github.io/wet-boew/index-en.html).
Project Overview
This module Implements a variety of accessible and responsive layouts leveraging the WET grid system.
It is meant to be used along side the WET4 Theme found here: https://www.drupal.org/project/wet4.
This module is part of a suite that includes:
• WET4 theme
• WET4 Menu module (https://www.drupal.org/project/wet4_menu)
• WET4 Slider module (https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/thatpatguy/2479463)
• WET4 Panel Layouts module
• WET4 Site Information module (https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/thatpatguy/2443035)
• WET4 Migration module
What is the difference between this project and the WET Distribution?
The Web Experience Toolkit distribution (https://www.drupal.org/project/wetkit) is a content management system. If you prefer an out-of-the-box system, please refer to the distribution.
This suite is meant for site builders who prefer to have a bit more control and provides a simple roadmap for upgrading WET components. By decoupling the features and leveraging Drupal’s module and theming system, we are able to provide quicker theme updates.
Can I install this theme on an existing WET distribution site?
This version is meant for non-WET distribution websites but we are working on releasing a version for WET distribution sites.
