Ability to change an Organization author or allow others to edit

I can create an Organization here:
https://www.drupal.org/node/add/organization

However, it appears that the only way to change the node author (i.e. the only person allowed to edit the organization) is by deleting it and re-creating it.

It would be extremely helpful if the node author can be changed. Alternatively (and perhaps this would be even better) it would be helpful to specify all of the users who have access to modify the organization.
