I created web form field sets and tried to restrict those fields to certain roles using webform component roles module, but it's showing up for all roles. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This should be fixed!

Just a note - if users do not have access to fieldsets, then they don't have access to any of the fieldset's elements.
