Releases for Webform

This release of Webform fixes several bugs found shortly after the 3.0 major release.

This release of Webform fixes lingering problems with the 2.x release of Webform. It will likely be the last release of Webform 2.x for users not wishing to upgrade to Webform 3.0. The majority of users should upgrade to 3.0 rather than using this release.

Initial release of Webform 3.0 final.

Large feature changes from Webform 2.x:

The Beta 6 version of Webform 3 provides multiple bug fixes relating to conditional logic, upgrade paths, and display issues. It also includes a few minor API enhancements that should make Webform more extensible by other modules.

This release of Webform fixes the Mollom integration introduced in beta 4 and adds a popup calendar option to the date component. Also contains several bug fixes. Recommended for all users of the 3.x branch.

Once again, if upgrading from the 2.x version 3.x, downgrading is not possible in any way other than completely uninstalling the module and starting over. Make a database backup before upgrading from 2.x to the 3.x version.

This is a minor update from beta 3, which had a bad bug regarding multi-page forms. Notes from beta 3 are included below in addition to beta 4 fixes.

The beta 3 release of Webform for Drupal 7 fixed numerous issues unique to the Drupal 7 branch. Important: Upgrading within the Drupal 7 branch is not yet supported. You much completely uninstall and reinstall Webform to use the new version. There have been extensive database updates since beta 2.

The 3.x release of the module for Drupal 6. Please only use for development purposes, not suitable for production sites.

This release fixes several issues found in the 3.0 beta 1 version. It only contains bug fixes from the beta 1 version.

Another reminder: if upgrading from a 2.x installation note that you CANNOT DOWNGRADE after upgrading to the 2.x version. Be sure to make a database backup. Please do not file an issue if you've upgraded then want to downgrade later and things aren't working. MAKE A BACKUP, DO NOT USE IN PRODUCTION.

The 2.9 release of Webform corrects several critical bugs discovered after 2.8 was released, including fixes that allow Webform to be used with PHP 5.3 and working with default value wildcards such as %profile. This release also includes several other minor fixes and features.

This version of Webform addresses two security issues found since the 2.7 release.

- Anonymous user data may be shown to other anonymous users when the page cache is enabled.
- Unsafe markup was allowed in textfield components' prefix and suffix values.

This is a maintenance release of Webform, fixing a few small bugs and a cross site scripting security fix. Upgrading is recommended for all Webform users.

Bug Fixes:
#374989: Re-ordering doesn't take

This is a quick follow up to the 2.5 version. Apologies to everyone that upgraded to the 2.5 version and now has to upgrade twice in two days.

This fixes a rather annoying issue with select lists where the options for "multiple" and "list box" would not stay checked.

This version fixes several bugs and adds a few minor features. This release fixes a critical issue regarding date and time components not saving properly when used within a multipage form. Upgrading is highly recommended for all users.

The 2.4 version is mostly a stability update. It is highly recommended for all users of Webform module, installations that utilize the grid, date, or pagebreak components, as critical bugs have been fixed in each of them.

This update to Webform fixes a critical bug regarding sending e-mails (all e-mail content was blank). It also fixes a few other minor bugs and allows optgroups to be used in select lists.

New Features:
#291498: Support <optgroup> in selects

The 2.2 release of Webform corrects several bugs and adds new features to the CSV download feature. Now you can configure your download at the node/x/results/download page, including a direct Excel file download.

This version is also much better about running the upgrade from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6. Previous releases required upgrading to the latest Drupal 5 version, then upgrading to 6. Any previous version of Webform should now work when upgrading from Drupal 5 to 6.

This version addresses several bug fixes. Including two critical bugs concerning data storage for the date and grid components. If using any 2.1 version of the module, upgrading immediately is recommended.

A minor release that fixes several major bugs. Upgrading all installations of Webform to this version is highly recommended.

This version corrects a critical bug released in the 2.1 version, where the module is unable to install under Drupal 6.

The first final release of Webform for Drupal 6. The Drupal 6 version is now completely feature equivalent to the Drupal 5 version, most notably theming has been improved and multiple page forms now work again. Several other features and many bug fixes:

Features:
Improved select, grid, and date components. Select and Grid components now work fine with non-Latin characters. The date component now mimics the date format set in your site settings, and can display a select list instead of a textfield.

Webform 2.0 final is here. It is much more compatible with other 3rd-party modules such as Diff and CCK. If building a new Drupal site, I highly recommend the 2.x version over 1.x. The Webform 1.x branch is now depreciated, I'd suggest moving over sites to get the latest fixes and updates for this module.

Warning: Carefully upgrade your site from 1.x to 2.x. The changelog details some API changes that have taken place, specifically custom theming of webform e-mails will break between versions. Additional validation and submit code will also likely need to be updated. If you haven't used either of these customizations to Webform, there is no special instruction for upgrading from 1.x.

Complete changelog from 1.x to 2.x:
- Redirect POST option removed.
- Webform components moved to the "Form components" tab when editing.
- Webform node structure changed. All webform additions to the node are placed in $node->webform.
- Clone option added to components.
- Database storage improved to be more consistent and efficient.
- Additional e-mails may be sent by modifying the $node->webform['additional_emails'] variable in the Additional Validation field.
- The values of select and hidden fields may receive e-mails by using the option in Conditional e-mail recipients field.
- E-mail from name, from address, and from subject may be entered in a text field.
