danchadwick commentedA. Definitely not major.
B. Why does the screen reader do this? Seems like a broken screen reader.
C. Not the latest version, but probably the same.
D. Which progress bar specifically?
Patches welcome, but I don't plan to do anything about this.
dru pal commentedThis is about the standard graphical progress bar (green bar) that can be included by enabling it under form settings. Can you at least point to the sections in the webform module to make changes to the output? Perhaps I can add "aria-hidden" to the code so that it's not shown to the screen reader?
liam morlandIt would be great to have an accessible progress bar, including the ARIA that is specific to progress bars. These changes can be made in
webform-progressbar.tpl.php.Comment #5
liam morlandThis can be done for 6.x and then potentially backported.
liam morlandComments on this approach appreciated.
jrockowitz commentedMR needs to be rerolled and tests need to be updated.
jrockowitz commentedI rerolled the MR to 6.3.x. Let's see what happens via the tests.
jrockowitz commentedI am also realizing that additional people need to confirm these changes are beneficial.
