Bookmarkable slide?

I have a page of content that uses the slideshow cycle plugin to present numerous pieces of content. I also have a slideshow on my front page that displays teasers of the same content. It would be cool to be able to click on the teaser's readmore link and have it bring the user to the slideshow page with the current slide being the one that was clicked. Perhaps if an identifier for the slide was appended to the page link?
