Ok, English isn't my natural language but I know the difference between Include and Append.
Taken from your documentation : "Append means that the referenced view is appended to the current view", so that means the referenced view is added under the current view (like merging the views to create one PDF with several views).
So why, it acts exactly like Include, the referenced view is added as a field in the current view?

vegansupreme CreditAttribution: vegansupreme commentedI agree, this needs to be cleaned up. Last I checked, there were some minor differences. As far as I could tell, Include view is for including other PDF views only. While append view (I haven't used this much) allows other display types.
It seems both of these modules are based on old, modified versions of the Views Field Views module. Currently that module doesn't support Views PDF, but we're working on a patch for that module to provide support. Patch is still in progress, but once it gets committed we can remove these modules from Views PDF.
