In PDF unformatted > PDF Fields Settings > Render Settings, there's an option to set the Minimal Space. Currently this option has no effect. It's supposed to add a new page if there isn't at least the specified amount of space remaining at the bottom of the page.
I have a patch for this, but it could have unexpected effects for current users if this latent feature is activated. The current default is '1'. For people using millimeters—the default PDF page unit—'1' is pretty small. For these users, it likely won't matter. But for those using inches, it could alter layouts. We could change the default to '0', but every existing View PDF likely is already set to '1', and changing the default wouldn't change those existing values. Enabling this feature could have the effect of adding extra space to the bottom margin.

vegansupreme CreditAttribution: vegansupreme commentedMaybe we should leave this as is for 7.x-1, but fix it for 7.x-2?
If anyone needs this feature, they could apply the patch for 7.x-1.
