I have 2 fields, plus the combined field. Results in these two fields start from row 1. Results for row 1 appear in Row 2 of the combined field. This the case recursively down all rows. Row 1 of the combined field remains empty.

i.e. The combined results are shifted down one row in the combined field.

Sorry for the late response, but I couldn't reproduce this error.
Please reopen if this problem still exists (and try to give some more information about your setup, i.e. custom preprocess functions and templates for views, other modules rewriting the output, etc.,).
