get all rows visible, last one cycling.

I set up a view where I expected to get 5-6 items returned.
I assume that with this plugin, I set the number of items the view returns to create the total pool for the slideshow, and they will collapse to one.

What I get instead is a list of all items, with the final one cycling.
Very strangely, with a different theme it's the top one that cycles with the static ones below.
