There are no issues anymore, batch_set can now be called directly from ViewsBulkOperationsBulkForm::viewsFormSubmit() without the need of extra redirect workaround.

Related issues: +#2849674: Complex job in ViewExecutable::unserialize() causes data corruption

Added the blocking issue as related for reference. Also this fix makes VBO 2.x dependent on Drupal core >= 8.4. Will include that in the info file in the next commit. Test with 8.4 passed (https://www.drupal.org/pift-ci-job/851573).
